19h00 às 21h00 - “CENAS DO CINEMA AMADOR NO BRASIL” (Scenes of Amateur Cinema in Brazil), com/with Lila Foster
Ministrada pela pesquisadora, professora e curadora Lila Foster, a masterclass será voltada para uma breve apresentação da história do cinema amador no Brasil, tendo como foco central o Festival de Cinema Amador JB/Mesbla. Entre 1965 e 1970, o certame movimentou uma cena de jovens cineastas em torno da criação cinematográfica, uma produção propulsionada pelo formato 16mm, mais econômico e acessível. O festival exibiu os primeiros curtas metragens de cineastas como Rogério Sganzerla, Andrea Tonacci, Neville D’Almeida, entre outros, configurando-se como um importante espaço de troca e iniciação de jovens cineastas, atrizes e atores, e artistas que atuaram em diversas funções como montagem e fotografia. O curso pretende dar a ver os filmes e a história deste importante momento do cinema brasileiro. Moderação: Isabel Veiga
Taught by the researcher, teacher and curator Lila Foster, the masterclass will focus on a brief presentation of the history of amateur cinema in Brazil, focusing on the Amateur Film Festival JB / Mesbla. Between 1965 and 1970, the event mobilised a scene of young filmmakers around cinematographic creation, a production driven by the 16mm format, cheaper and more accessible. The festival showed the first short films by filmmakers such as Rogério Sganzerla, Andrea Tonacci, Neville D’Almeida, among others, becoming an important space for the exchange and initiation of young filmmakers, actresses and actors, and artists who acted in various functions such as editing and cinematography. The masterclass aims to show the films and the history of this important moment of Brazilian cinema.Moderator: Isabel Veiga
